• Make sure you have a clear understanding of the learning goals of the course and select the goals that you want your case work to support.
• An option is to contact companies who can provide an authentic case for you to work with
• Find other inspiration for cases here.
• Consider if you want all the students on your course to work with the same case or if you should have multiple cases divided between groups.
• Consider finding material that can provide visual aid for the case and increases the students understanding of the context.

• The case work should always support the learning goals.
• It is pertinent to structure the study activity that include casework as group work.
• Suggestions for casework could be videos of work the company has been doing, interviews with key personnel or other digitally suported communication with a company. Consider how the various forms of digitally supported communication affects the knowledge intake of your students for example, it is not possible for them to ask follow questions.
• Peer-to-peer learning is advantages to include in the study activities.
• The case work can be highly or less highly controlled depending on the students' learning prerequisites
• The result of the case work might be made presented to the external cooperators through a portfolio or website.
• Digital groupwork tools are advantageous to employ when working with a case.
• Consider how the end product should be handed in. Should a presentation be made to the cooperator? Or should a rapport be handed it? A whole other option?
