• Consider how the learning goals in your course teachings relate to the student's semester projects – verbalize what the connection between the course teaching and the general framework and theme of the semester project is.
• Let your students brainstorm about the possibilities to use the course teachings in their semester project – how is the knowledge applicable in the specific context of this project? It can be helpful to make the groups discuss with one another to gain various perspectives.
• Create a short quiz for the students which enables them to consider the correlation between the course and their projects – the questions can be recycled in an exam situation.

• Be aware of the fact that the students will be at various stages of development in relation to their projects and some will see the correlation between the project and the courses very easily, whereas others will need more guidance and support in seeing this.
• The activity might benefit from being of the peer-to-peer variety where the students both work in their own project groups but also present their work, consideration and challenges to another group.
• When the students use the course theory and method in the context of their semester project, the result is often that they have more complex consideration in relation to their project than they would with purely theoretical assignments, and therefore you must be ready to answer wider and more academic questions.
• Make sure that the supervisor of the project is informed about the semester decribiton and the academic content of the semester courses.
